Welcome to USA Green Card
Last reviewed: August 20, 2026
USA Green Card provides plain-language explanations of employment-based green card categories, filing steps, and government updates. Immigration rules, fees, processing times, and visa availability can change, so our guides link to the official source you should verify before acting.
What We Offer
- EB-1 guides — Eligibility and evidence concepts for EB-1 petitions, including the EB-1A criteria.
- Processing-time guide — A current framework for checking PERM, USCIS, and Visa Bulletin timing without treating estimates as guarantees.
- Resources — Additional explainers and links for researching the immigration process.
Start With Official Sources
- USCIS forms and filing fees — Confirm the current form edition, instructions, filing address, and fee.
- USCIS case processing times — Select the form, category, and office handling the case.
- Department of State Visa Bulletin — Check monthly immigrant-visa availability by preference category and country of chargeability.
- USCIS adjustment-of-status filing charts — Confirm which Visa Bulletin chart USCIS permits applicants to use that month.
- Department of Labor FLAG processing times — Check current prevailing-wage and PERM queues where labor certification applies.
As of August 2026, USCIS directs employment-based adjustment applicants to use the Final Action Dates chart for that month's Visa Bulletin. DOL's August 7 update shows PERM analyst review working on September 2025 priority dates and reports a 372-calendar-day average for July 2026 analyst-review determinations. These are snapshots, not promises for an individual case.
